EvoFLUtion
A 10 x 8-10’ episodic documentary series detailing the history of the 1918 Spanish Flu and the global impact of influenza.
OVERVIEW
Collaborating with a production company specialising in video for the healthcare sector, we created a 10 episode documentary series covering the history of the 1918 Spanish Flu, the history of influenza as a pandemic, and the severity a new pandemic might have today. This was designed to educate internal teams within a top 5 global pharmaceutical company in recognition of the centenary of the 1918 pandemic ahead of a prominent drug launch.
CREATIVE
I supported the production in numerous roles and responsibilities. Contributing as a researcher, video editor, script editor, camera assistant and sound designer, I influenced the production of the trailer and several of the documentary episodes. Featuring interviews with a world-renowned virologist and a health journalist and bolstered with archive material from a variety of historical and medical sources, the final output was released on an internal platform.
